DreamingThere was a period when I was taking shots of objects that seemed to work together in a strainge way and was also into the square format; finding that all shapes worked well within it´s walls. I have still kept that idea with many of my subjects, as the standard photo format is not always relivent for the subject and is far too week for this kind of subject.

UnderwayAnother great location idea and comes warmly recomended for any photographer out there.I spent a whole day there and nearly a whole afternoon around this one rusty ship, thx to the owners permision.That ship had seen many days at sea and was only reflected in it´s cracked paintwork and rusty chains.

KarsundThe air was so still that day and the pace of life was slow and easy for those that tinkered with there boats.I had just arrived on the coast that day and although late in the year the it was a hot one.This is a merge of two shots.

Spoken forSo much for feilds of danylions.I do get a kick from boat yards which is were I found this scene and was lucky with the lighting that day. Would have been nice to have seen the sun stroke that rusty surface at more of an angle for the textures sake, yet was not going to wait around!

This is just were the weather has left it´s mark - how often do you see this pattern in nature? On the beach after the tyde has gone.it could have been a shot of a desert from above?

a removed reality
I wonder if you realy need an art education in order to both understand the depth of what you see and feal? An abstract viewpoint will always be just an experiment for the on-looker. Yet maybe an experiance that has it´s roots based on our understanding of art all the same?I beleave we are all drawn by very different emosional goals, for some it´s colour alone, for another texture, form and so on. In this way you could compare art with just about any fundermental like... food I certainly need the emosional outlet as much or I would perish!
