The FrontYou cannot stear the weather and my first thought was... bugger, as I had been walking around this island thinking... I will wait until the sun has gone round and come back for that shot, however, as time was running out on me, I had to find a forground to match that sky and when I did, everything else was forgiven... I had hoped for a clear evening and maybe a great sun-set... look at the next shot and you will understand that I went home cold, yet very happy;)

Myren GoldThat cold front vanished and left this calm sky behind.This was a succesful day indeed and well worth the long drive up there from my home. Myren ounce offered a main supply of sandstone and those scars of cutting are left all over the island. Yet that said, it was a beautiful experiance and not easily forgotten.

Realy happy to see that sun come out as it was still windy and I still wanted my lunch.An eary place and I could emagine how unforgiving it would be nearer the winter, I decided that I would have to come back and see for myself next winter - still wonder if that will happen..

AloneWell there has to be at least one shot called "Alone", I mean come on! Finding the right name for a moment or place is not as easy as you might think. After working with so many the process can become quite a problem; the name is only a starting point yet still important for me. Somtimes the name will come right there and then on the spot, before it´s taken... then forgotten when I get home ;)

There benchA trip up to a place called Alingsas for some night time photography no less, (they have a light show every autom), yet it was going to be a long time waiting until then - so I explored a reservation area to find yet another rare beech woodland full of warmth and colour.That bench looked so inviteing, yet I was not there to relax.

Under warm leavesThis naturaly follows from the last shot, did not see any trolls that time ;) Yet as mensioned on the last shot; I was waiting for a special event to start and have created a peace of music with shots from that event called "After Midnight" so be shore to check out the atmousphere that night brought me.I don´t think I have met so many photographers in one place with one and the same interest!

It is were I am happiest, as for so many; the west coast of Sweden can offer a wealth of natural beauty andspecial places that seem to be visited as if for the first time.You get lost in it´s charm with footpaths winding down onto small beaches lined with smooth rocks.I do not know how many islands there are here, yet maybe one for every soul with a heart to be on there own.The day will go by quickly and yet you will always feel complete and calm as you make your way home.
